Thelma was like a 2nd mother to my sister and I. I remember her sitting there for hours letting me brush and even curl her hair. There were many nights she stayed at our house. We would have bbq's, sit on the porch and look at the stars - even when the bats were swooping down at us. We enjoyed the beautiful, crisp clean night air and just talked and listened to country music. I remember enjoying her delicious lasagna that only she could make. Fried and/or bbq chicken and spaghetti...mmm..didn't matter what time of night. I remember many nights of watching movies, playing cards and laughing with Thelmie Welmie (my nickname for her) - Peggie Weggie was her nickname for me, even as an adult. I'll always cherish the memories with her. I will miss her greatly. I know she is where she needs to be, home with God & Billy (whom is also deeply missed). She will forever be in a part and a part of me. I love you Thelmie...xoxo
