Dolores Marsh (Morin)
Dolores (Morin) Marsh, 83, of Jeffersonville passed away on December 20, 2015 peacefully at her home with her husband and family by her side. Dolores was born in Saint Valerien, Quebec, Canada on February 28, 1932, the daughter of Jerome and Elaine (Leclerc) Morin. She graduated from Johnson High School Class of 1951. Following high school she joined the Women’s Army Corps where she served some time in Germany during the Korean War. On May 7, 1955 she married the love of her life, Rex L. Marsh. She worked several years in the registrar’s office at Johnson State College and the medical records office at Copley Hospital. She was also a spent many years working along the side of her husband on their dairy farm. One of her greatest pleasures in life was being a wonderful homemaker for her husband and family.
Dolores is survived by her husband of 60 years, Rex, her two daughters, Janette and husband Danny Dezotelle of Cambridge, Linda and husband Huw Curtis of Cambridge, and one son, Richard and Diane Marsh of Jeffersonville, seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Darrin Dezotelle, Michelle (Dan) Fletcher and Ryan (Ashley) Marsh, Hillary Dezotelle, Megan (Chad) Herman and Lauren Curtis, three great-grandsons Evan and Sean Fletcher, Riley Grippo and two great-granddaughters Willa Grippo and Anna Marsh. She also leaves one brother-in-law John (Barbara) Marsh, sister-in-law Roberta Marsh, brother-in-law Danny (Wanda) Marsh, several nieces, nephews and cousins, including a special niece Lynne Rarick West and nephew Daniel Marsh, Jr. and two special caregivers, Patty Wells and Donna Hutchins. Dolores was predeceased by her father and mother, her sister Julienne Rarick, her step-father, Ralph Courser and her brother-in-law, M. Page Marsh, Jr.
Per wishes of Dolores, there will be no visiting hours. A private Mass of Christian burial will take place at St John the Apostles Church in Johnson, Vermont followed by interment at the Waterville Cemetery.
