Kara currently resides in Conover, NC. She has been a member of the funeral home family since 1998. She and her husband Kevin lived in Fairfax for 12 years and were the owners of KMC Auto. She also had her own bookkeeping business and worked for several Fairfax and Essex area businesses. Together they have 4 children and moved to North Carolina in 2007. Not wanting to leave her funeral home family behind and with the power of the internet she is able to continue as a valued member of the team. She plays an integral part in the entering data, preparing forms and creating personalized obituaries and web site administration for families. Kara's friendly personality is comforting to our families at their time of need.

Bonnie Blair has lived in Vermont since 1999. She resides in Georgia, Vermont.

Bonnie has always enjoyed caring for others and helping people. That passion had led her to become a volunteer at a local hospital when she was 13. She became a nurse's aide and worked at a nursing home. She then attended a business school to become an Administrative Medical Assistant and worked in a doctor's office until she took some time to raise her son. Besides working in the medical field, Bonnie has started her own business and worked for a government contractor until she joined our family at the A.W. Rich Funeral Home.
Bonnie handles the day-to-day operations of the funeral home. Her professional and caring demeanor comes through while helping families through their difficult time. When not working, Bonnie enjoys time with her family, playing pool, knitting, gardening and the outdoors.
