Nancy Gage Welling passed away on 9/04/2026 in Burlington Vermont.  Born Nancy Gage Welling on April 17, 1959 in Trenton, NJ to Seth Fisher Welling and Adrienne Gage Welling. 

Nancy’s zest for life and her love of people and animals was shown by her hospitality to friends  (the “Betty group” and family; and her love of animals especially her horse “Blazin” and her two dogs, “Beau” and “Buddy”.

She leaves her sister Sally Welling Lafferty of Lafayette CA and her husband Mark R Lafferty, son Harry Lafferty and wife Shaelyn Thomas and their son Hayden of Portland OR.  She leaves her sister-in-law Christine Fiestas of Corpus Christi TX and her husband Juan and children, Nash, Manuel and Inez. She dearly loved Christine Fiesta’s son, Nash Welling of Golden CO and his wife Katlin and their daughter Stella.  She leaves her brother-in-law Hollis Hunnewell of Cohasset, MA. And children, Hollis, Fisher and Charlotte.

Predeceased, Parents Seth Fisher Welling, Adrienne Gage Welling. Predeceased sisters and brothers include Mary Welling Hunnewell, Seth Fisher Welling, and Carol Elizabeth Welling.

Would like to thank the Wilbur and Cawthorne families in Burlington Vermont in in addition to Joe and Linda Gage, also in Burlington area, for their assistance during Nancy’s illness.

There will be a celebration of life at Higgins Beach ME, to be arranged and announced at a later date.
