Pierre Paul Pion, 65, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026 in Burlington, VT with his family by his side.  Born on June 8, 1961 in North Troy, VT Pierre was a beloved husband father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Pierre possessed a rare gift, he could fix absolutely anything and was a master of all trades who brought dedication and compassion to everything he did. He had a deep passion for working on cars, tools, and his home.  He took immense pride in perfecting the smallest details, treating every project with patience and precision.  His hands were rarely still and his ability to solve any mechanical problem was admired by all who knew him.

Pierre is survived by his loving wife Betsey Broe Pion and his legacy will live on through his children Jeremy Pion and his wife Nicole, Jennifer McCallister and her husband Shaun, Kevin Pion and his wife Monica, Brian Washburn and his wife Morgan, Benjiman Washburn and his partner Ashley, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and their spouses.

Pierre was predeceased by his parents Paul and Madeline Pion.

Pierre’s strong work ethic, love of birds and his family and all of his “jagged edges” will be deeply missed and forever remembered.  A service to celebrate his life will be announced by the family at a later date.
