Peter Scott Willey Sr., 71, passed away surrounded by family at the Respite House in Colchester, VT, July 12, 2026.  Peter was born in Montpelier Vermont on April 12, 1955, to Charles and Maude (Quickmire) Willey. He grew up in Montpelier then spent most of his adult life in Milton, VT.  Peter will be remembered for his love of family.  He loved attending his grandchildren’s sports events whether it was at the hockey rink, racetrack, or ball field.  Always cheering loudly from the sidelines. Peter enjoyed being outside camping, watching birds, taking pictures, and taking long car rides.

Peter was predeceased by his wife and love of his life, Sharron Lee (Piper) Willey and their son Edward S. Willey.

Peter is survived by his children, Peter Willey-Rockwell and his partner Michael Rockwell, Lynn Wheel and husband Ronald Wheel. Grandchildren Cody Tomlinson-Willey and partner Alicia Hope, Dustin Tomlinson-Willey and partner Elizabeth McGuiness, Brooke Bolton and husband Casey Bolton, Taylor Wheel and partner Tristan King, Matt Rockwell, Megan Rorckwell and partner Phoenix.  Great grandchildren Cody Jr., Kinsley, Kaysen, Rylee, Brooklyn, and Kaydence. Sisters Patrichia Alger, and Pamula Willey. Peter leaves behind nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and wonderful friends. 

Peter was also predeceased by his parents Charles and Maude, brothers Phillip and Pepper Willey, and sister Carol Martin.  Brother-in-law and great friend Kenny Piper, mother and father-in- law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law.
