Wayne E. Lanphear Jr., 64 of Essex Jct., VT died peacefully at the UVM Medical Center hospital on July 7, 2026. Wayne was born in Morrisville, VT on September 28, 1961 to Wayne and Patricia Lanphear. He spent much of his growing up years in Morrisville. Wayne worked at the Green Corporation and the Lamoille Valley Railroad as a welder. He loved to hunt and fish. Wayne owned his own business, the Fishing Hole, in Morrisville for many years.

Wayne leaves behind his sisters Wanda, Anita, Laurie, a brother Michael and his Fishing brother Michael Edson. Wayne also leaves behind many special friends, cousins, nieces, nephews and a couple aunts.

Wayne was predeceased by a sister Linda in 1986, his father in 2003, sister Lisa in 2009, his mother in 2014 and many friends throughout his life.

Per Wayne's wishes there will not be any visiting hours or services held. Inurnment will be held in the Lamoille View Cemetery in Johnson, VT at a later date.
