Edward Brannagan Obituary
Edward Brannagan, 61 of Jeffersonville passed away July 4, 2026 at the Respite House in Colchester after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Burlington Vermont on September 30, 1964. Ed was predeceased by his father, Edward Brannagan Sr, and his sister, Kelly Brannagan King.
He leaves his son Sawyer Brannagan, companion Connie McCoy, mother Lucy Wilcox, and sisters Karen Brannagan and Abby Wilcox, as well as many other family members.
Ed was enterprising. At the age of six he was digging in the backyard and found antique bottles which he sold to collectors. As he got older he continued to dig, but with much larger shovels. He owned Ed’s Excavating in Fletcher for thirty years.
Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 am to the hour of service at 11:00 am at Binghamville United Methodist Church in Fletcher, VT on July 11, 2026 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the family lot in Bighamville Cemetery with a luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Binghamville United Methodist Church.
