Dennis P. Breen, 74, of Barre, Vermont, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis was born in Boston and raised in Hingham, Massachusetts. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Pat; his three cherished daughters, Staci Breen, Meghan Breen, and Mackenzie Floyd and her husband, Conor Floyd. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Andrew, Liam, and Emmett, who brought him immeasurable joy.  Dennis is also survived by his sister, Maureen Crocker of Chelsea, Vermont; his sister-in-law, Donna Breen of Scituate, Massachusetts; and his niece and several nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Dennis and Geraldine Breen; his sister, Ruth; his brother, Bill; and his brother-in-law, Charlie Crocker.

An avid woodworker, Dennis took great pride in creating beautiful, handcrafted pieces and was known for his remarkable attention to detail. Those who knew him will remember his quick wit, infectious humor, and ability to bring laughter and smiles to every gathering. Above all, Dennis was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather whose unwavering love for his family defined his life.

Dennis will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In accordance with his wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
