Obituary for Hannah Gardner Coe

Hannah Gardner Coe, 25, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Essex on May 11, 2023. She was born on March 27, 1998, in Burlington. Hannah was loved dearly by her parents Alan and Kimberly-Ann (Cyr) Coe.

Hannah had a love for animals, and a passion for helping them as a local vet tech. Hannah loved her work and looked forward to continuing her career in Veterinary medicine. Hannah loved music, particularly Halsey, and listening to it in her car as loud as possible. Hannah loved her family, her friends, the ocean, being on the water, Bernie Sanders, Kripalu, yoga, reiki, Alcoholics Anonymous, and being vegan.

She leaves behind her parents, Alan and Kimberly-Ann Coe of Essex, sisters, Tovah Coe of Essex, Ridmi Coe and husband Patrick McDougall of Queens, NY, Nipunika Coe and fiancé Jon Atwood of Austin, Tx, her brother, Hashan Wass of Barre, her Nana, Linda Cyr, Grandparents, Stanley Spaulding, Marcelene Coe, and Grandmother Penny Cyr, many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins. Hannah leaves her beloved pets, her horse Cherokee, her dogs Maddie and Mochie and her hedgehog Francis. She also leaves all her wonderful work family and co-workers at BEVS.

Hannah was predeceased by her grandfathers James Cyr and Phillip Coe.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday May 18, 2023, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at A W Rich Funeral Home – Essex Chapel. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 20th, at Indian Brook Reservoir from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
