Obituary for Terrance "Terry" Michael Michaud

Johnson, Vermont - Terrance (Terry) Michael Michaud, 52, years old passed away 1/18/2023 from a tragic accident. He was born on 10/28/1970 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Normand and Joann Michaud.

Terry graduated from Vincennes University, but always stated I attended The Ohio State University, where he met his wife. Terry was married to Candice for over 21 years, but they were together for 30 years. Terry was a skilled Timber framer and residential builder and most recently was making chocolate. He built our post and beam home on 12.8 beautiful acres. He loved the outdoors especially fishing on Lake Champlain, the Missisquoi River and spending time at camp. He enjoyed kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, skiing and ice fishing. He was a fan of college football, the NFL and racing. He attended the Indy 500 several times and Formula 1 races in Montreal. He was an avid gardener. Terry most enjoyed spending time with his wife and two Labrador retrievers at home. Terry touched so many lives through the years and was always there to help you when you needed.

He leaves: his spouse, Candice Costello, sisters Monica Houserman her husband Kenny, Collette Michaud, Uncle Wayne Prescott, Cousins Sharon Salls her husband Scott, Sandy Spaulding her husband Mike, Dawn Prescott, nieces Ashley Trella, Holly Leber, nephews Gavin Phillips, Zack Leber, half sisters Danielle Atkinson, Michele Degen and Charlie- Chocolate Labrador Retriever and Koby- Black Labrador Retriever

Terry was predeceased by his parents Joann Michaud and Normand Michaud.

A mass celebrating Terry’s life will be at The Most Holy Name of Jesus 301 Brooklyn Street, Morrisville, VT 05661 on February 4, 2023 @ 1:00 pm. Food and drinks to follow. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
