Anita Beverina Allen passed away peacefully on January 3, 2023. Born in 1949, Anita grew up in Barre-Montpelier, closely bonded with her Italian/Germanic family, including her 3 loving sisters, Dottie, Linda and Jonie. Arriving in the Burlington area in the early 80’s she met her partner of life, Steve. Together, they shared their wonderful experience of 40+ years of love and adventures in Vermont with many explorations around the world. Their togetherness was treasured and every day of life was appreciated. Much of Anita’s work life was devoted to Burlington youth at the school libraries including BHS and Edmunds. First and foremost to Anita’s heart and life, was family. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, “Oma”will be deeply missed by all. She leaves her loving family: husband Stephen, son Daniel, daughter in law Aislyn and her precious grandchildren Ammi, Carter and Rhys.

Respecting her wish, there will be no funeral service. Friends and family will honor her legacy of love and kindness as they reflect on their personal memories of Anita. At a future date, family will gather at Lakeview Cemetery in remembrance of Anita and her meaningful, loving impact on all.
