Obituary for Gerald C "Gerry" Baker Sr
Gerry passed away on November 17, 2022 at McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester. He was born August 24, 1953 in Burlington to Clyde and Geraldine Baker (Derochie). He was a member of the US Army.
Gerry enjoyed watching old TV Shows, westerns, playing guitar, spending time with friends and family and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked his whole life as a baker for Bouyea-Fassetts Bakery from where he retired. After retirement he spent his time working for SSTA and Century Arms.
Predeceased by his wife and lifetime partner of 28 years, Debra Ann Baker (Wheel). He leaves his Son Jason Wheel and wife Michele Wheel of Jericho, Gerald Baker Jr and his wife Doddi Baker of Milton, Son Jeffrey Baker and his wife Sam Baker of Wheelock, sister Kathy Couture of Winooski, sister-in-law Jeanine Baker of Milton, his granddaughters, grandsons, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also predeceased by his mother and father Clyde C Baker and Geraldine Baker of Burlington, brother Brian Baker of Milton, brother-in-law Ray Couture of Winooski.
