Obituary for Constance Anne (Costadura) Goode
Constance Anne Goode, 61, of Winooski, VT entered eternal rest September 17th, 2022 at the UVM Medical Center after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Connie was born on March 8th, 1961 to Alfred Costadura and Pearl Menkes in Brooklyn, NY.
Connie was known to her community as a caring and thoughtful person. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.
After graduating from Kings Park High School in 1979 she entered the United States Army Reserve for a brief period before being honorably discharged. She then went to earn herself a certificate at Helen Keller National Center for Deafblind to study sign language. Later on she was elected into the National Technical Honors Society at Center for Technology, Essex for outstanding character and achievement. Connie ended her career as a caregiver to those physically and mentally impaired.
Connie loved spending time with her family, enjoyed the outdoors, relaxing with her beloved cat Sally and was particularly fond of playing Words with Friends.
Connie is survived by her two daughters, Dawn Goode, Carolyn Goode, two grandchildren Zendrick and Rose, her sister Linda Cowart and her nieces and nephews.
Connie was predeceased by Alfred Costadura (Father), Jack Costadura (Brother), Steven Costadura (Brother), Kathleen Costadura (Sister- in- law) Justin Costadura (Godson).
A Memorial Service will take place at The First Congregational Church at 1:30 P.M. on October 9th. The address is 39 Main Street, Essex Junction, VT 05452. A reception will immediately follow at the Church.
