Obituary for Robert Gerald Gardner
Saint Albans City - Robert Gardner passed away at the age of 65 on August 27th, 2022 at his home in Saint Albans City surrounded by his loved ones. Robert was born in Plattsburgh, NY on November 17th, 1956 to Lorraine Gebo-Gardner and Rudolph Gerald Gardner SR.
Robert liked to go fishing, NASCAR and The History Channel were his favorite shows to watch, he liked to play the slots, for hobbies he was an avid collector, he liked to tinker around with mechanics, he was a regular handyman. Most of all and importantly he loved to be around and with his family that meant and mattered the most to him.
He leaves behind: His spouse Donna Champaine of 34 wonderful loving years. His daughter Bobbiejo Benoit and her spouse Phillip Benoit, his sons Shawn Gardner and his spouse Jessica Gardner, Thomas Townley and his spouse Amanda Townley and his step daughter Kelly Taylor and her spouse Charles Taylor. His sisters Martha Souza and her spouse Mike Souza, Shirley Gardner, and Sharon Gardner and his brother Rudolph Gardner JR. His granddaughters Saryn Gabree, Avaya Benoit, Kaitlyn Champaine, Tristyn Gardner, Trelyn Gardner, Haleigh Townley, Brianna Reynolds and his grandsons Tyler Bushey, Caleb Burdo, Thor Clark, Cam Clark, PTB, Tyler Lamere, Bryan Cushing, Devyn Townley, Alexander Wagner, Tommy Townley, Justin Townley, Jeremiah Townley.
He had many nieces and nephews who he loved all dearly. He thought of them all as his own.
His two cats and loving companions Buttercup and Precious.
Predeceased by his mother Lorraine Marie Gebo-Gardner, his father Rudolph Gerald Gardner SR, his son Matthew James Gardner and his brother Terry James Gardner.
There will be a celebration of life being held on Sunday September 11th, 2022 from 02:00pm-05:00pm at the Saint Albans VFW.
