July 2, 2021, Linda Marlene Walsh passed away after a short battle with cancer at her home in Newport, VT.
Born December 28, 1951 to Mary Ennis and Earl Walsh in Sunderland. She was the wife of the late Donald Longley and the second wife of the late Joseph Miner. Linda was born to heal-she completed a degree in Nursing, a degree of the Usui System of Natural Healing, received credentials in Ministry and practiced Reiki and herbology.
Linda was a strong-willed woman, who was caring, compassionate, intuitive, charismatic, a dreamer, believed in multi-cultural spirits and strived to be self-sufficient. Her passions included writing, gardening, knitting, developing healing potions and offering spiritual guidance. She had a love of Water, whether it was at the Roaring Branch on the Kelly Stand Road, a lake or the ocean, she loved to dip her toes in.
She considered her significant life accomplishments to be her children, homes and gardens, healing strengths, and her self-published book “The Adventures of Miya-Tuck”.
Linda is survived by her children Lin-Dee Baker of Newport, VT; Petra M.J. Longley of Sonoma, CA; Ericka Jean Longley of Greensboro, NC; Tammy Brenner of Fort Collins, CO; and Joshua Miner of S. Burlington, VT along with five granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 9th, 2022 at Ira Allen Cemetery, Hill Farm Road, East Arlington, VT at 3:30pm. Reception will follow at the Curtis Residence: 747 South Road, East Arlington, VT. Memorials can also be sent to this address.
Her final message to her family and friends was to “Love, Love, Love one another, no matter what.”!
