Georgette T. Morin of Essex passed away on Tuesday April 19, 2022 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. She was born on February 4, 1930 in Quebec, Canada daughter of the late Louis and Marie Anne (Girardin) Roberge.
Mom became a US citizen in October of 1964, she was very proud to be an American and loves this country and hung the flag of independence proudly in every residence she lived in. Her last place of residence was Essex Town Meadow Senior Living. She made wonderful friends and even a few sweet dear friends. Her love for crafts, bingo, jigsaw puzzles and lets not forget her favorite vegetable was chocolate! She enjoyed going down memory lane of old stories about childhood and the way things were… she was thankful for the great era of time she lived in. She lived a full life.
Georgette is survived by her three children daughters Louise Bouthillette of Fairfax, daughter Joanne Blodgett and husband Ken of Jericho, son Mike Morin and his wife Gina of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, two grandchildren Nicholas Bouthillette of Hinesburg, Melaney Bouthillette and husband Mike Gulick of Maynard, Massachusetts, three great-grandchildren Gavin, Jack and Ella. She had a great love for us all.
She was also predeceased by her husband Maurice H. Morin on February 4, 1975 and son-in-law Jean Paul Bouthillette in 2017.
There will be no services at this time. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Thank you for being part of our lives, we Thank God for all of you. All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
