Fairfax - Wayne Roger Aiken, 74, passed away on Friday April 15, 2022 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. He was born on April 8, 1948 in Richford, Vermont son of the late Richard and Violeta (Thomas) Aiken.
Wayne was a family man. Made sure to always make time to go see his family whenever he had a chance. He also enjoyed going to antique car show. He loves it so much he purchased a Chevy caviler convertible a few years ago. He started to take his cavalier to some of the local antique car shows. He loves going for long drives with the top down. He also enjoyed taking the caviler out on a beautiful Vermont summer night to get a maple walnut ice cream from the local creamy stands. He always enjoyed a good western show and movies.
Wayne is survived by his son Wayne “Pete” Aiken, two daughters Angela Borden and husband Justin, Sonya Duquette and husband Paul, three brothers Everest Aiken and wife Shirley, Nathan Aiken and Live in partner June, Richard Aiken and wife Vicky. Two sisters Rosalie Fletcher and Wilma Aiken and husband Ray Spezeski. Three grandchildren Alisha Aiken, Toni Robar and Harley Robar. Two great grandchildren Sari Adams, August Adams. Many nieces and nephews.
Wayne is also predeceased by his wife Sharon, brothers Cleon Aiken, Ralph Aiken, sister Pearl Aiken and grandson Jordon Fortune.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday April 28, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday April 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at North Ferrisburgh Methodist Church.
