Obituary for Mary Lou (Jones, Nichols) Moore
MARY LOU (JONES, NICHOLS) MOORE, 81, of Essex Junction, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022 at McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester. She was born January 23, 1941 in Powell, Wyoming to Roxie and Alwin Jones.
Early years were spent in Denver, CO area with husband Dick Nichols and their children Bruce and Vonda Rae. She later moved to Casper, WY where she married Gene Moore. They traveled extensively to Middle East, Europe and many parts of the U.S. Following Gene's death she moved to Idaho to be with daughter Vonda Rae and her family. Last several years were spent in Essex Junction, Vt where she enjoyed activities with her sister Irene Dunlavey and family, and her very dear friends Judy DeVino and Jane Pelkey. Her work thru the years was primarily home cleaning and health care which she loved.
Mary Lou was predeceased by parents Roxie and Alwin Jones, son Bruce Nichols, spouses Dick Nichols and Gene Moore, and siblings Lloyd Jones, Patricia Rich, and Vonda Morris.
Mary Lou leaves daughter Vonda Rae Pattee and significant other Ray Rollins, grandson Richard Nichols and family Shelby, Destiny, Kali, and Jenna, sister Irene Dunlavey and her family, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
As requested by Mary Lou there will be no services at this time.
