Obituary for Joan Anne (VanSleet) Kane
It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Anne Kane (VanSleet) announces her passing after a brief illness, on November 9, 2021 at the age of 87.
Joan passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She is survived by her sons; Robert and wife Nancy, Scott and wife Cheryl, Timothy and wife Clare, Mark and wife Janipher and son Jeffrey, her daughters Joni Whitehouse and husband Leonard, Susan Faucett and husband Jeff, Cindy Trombly and husband Jeffery.
She also leaves 16 beloved grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, her brother Jack VanSleet and wife Pauline, her sister Sally Smetana and many nieces and nephews.
Joan was predeceased by her husband Robert A Kane, daughter Lori and her parents William and Hazel VanSleet.
Due to Covid 19, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Spring of 2022. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Ethan Allen Residence 1200 North Avenue Burlington, VT 05408.
