Obituary for Celeste Diane (Ruth) Wallace

Celeste Diane (Ruth) Wallace, 48, passed away on Thursday October 28, 2021 at UVMMC in Burlington after a short illness. She was born on April 12, 1973 in Fairfax, Virginia, the daughter of Franklin and Diane (Beuchert) Ruth. A native Virginian, she moved to Vermont and enjoyed living for several years in the Burlington area.

She attended Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, Virginia. She also attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia with a focus on wildlife science and ever after loved watching Hokie football. She worked most recently as an Immigration Officer for the Department of Homeland Security. She loved nature, animals, and had impeccable fashion sense. She was an insightful animal trainer and bonded closely with her beloved Rhodesian Ridgebacks and her cats. An excellent photographer, she honed her skills with a degree in photography and was the person that could take the most flattering image of anyone no matter what.
