Obituary for Carol Ann (Bartinoski) Helfrich
Essex Junction - Carol Ann (Bartinoski) Helfrich, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester. She was surrounded by family and close friends. She was born on June 17, 1945 in Woodbury, New Jersey daughter of the late William and Anna (Kershaw) Bartinoski.
Carol enjoyed listening to Neil Diamond and spending time with her German Shepherds and traveling and sightseeing with family and friends. She spent most of her life in Vermont and enjoyed the change of seasons and being surrounded by family and friends. She loved working as a nurse in labor and delivery and later earned a degree in computer science where she finished out her career at IBM.
She is survived by her three children Otis Helfrich and wife Jen, Tom Helfrich and wife Deb, Melissa Jensen and husband Michael, a brother William Bartinoski, sisters Mary Anne Chase and husband Larry, June Mulheron and husband Jim, five grandchildren Dustin Helfrich, Jessica Helfrich, Courtney Helfrich, Emmet Jensen, Brady Jensen; nieces and nephews Matt, Mike, Justin, Meghan, Rebecca, Nicole and Laura Lee.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday September 10, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Essex Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Essex Junction with Reverend Charles Ranges, S.S.E. officiating.
