Kenneth (Kenny) H. Phillips, Sr., 59, of Cabot, Vermont passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born July 18, 1961 in Hartford, Connecticut to August and Carolyn Phillips. Growing up, he attended schools in Bloomfield. After schooling, Kenny worked as a mechanic at JDC Enterprises for many years. Kenny met his soulmate Deborah Olson in 1981, and together they had 3 children. In 1999, he and his family moved to Vermont, making their home in Marshfield before eventually settling permanently in Cabot. Kenny loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved working on cars, watching NASCAR, and going fishing. Kenny went out of his way to help people; he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He had so much love for all his grandchildren and would often spoil them with their favorite treats. He loved to see his family smiling and especially loved to see them laughing.
Kenny leaves behind his wife, Deborah Olson of Cabot; his children, Kenneth H. Phillips Jr. and his wife, Ciara Roberts Phillips of Marshfield, VT; Brittany Olson and her partner Justin Gadue of Marshfield, VT; his dog Nico and cat, Sox; his grandkids, Alex Trombly of Barre, VT; Shylah and Ethan Trombly of Cabot, VT; Jaelynn and Amelia Gadue of Marshfield; his brothers and sisters August T. Phillips, Jr., of Windsor, CT; Rosemary Ksepka and her husband, Timothy of Marshfield, VT; Thomas Phillips, Sr. of Windsor, CT; Timothy Phillips and his wife, Kathy, of Broad Brook, CT; and Kimberly Phillips of East Windsor, CT. His fur-grandkids Bella, Paco, Chance, Evie, and Loki all of Marshfield, VT;. He also had many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Holly Trombly (Phillips); his grandchildren Taurien Trombly and Dustin Trombly; Son-in-law Eric Trombly and brother-in-law Johnny Olson.
