Obituary for Ruby Amelia Roberts (Goodrich)
Ruby Amelia (Goodrich) Roberts from South Burlington went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2020. She was born on June 26, 1936 to Herbert and Mary Ethel (Cole) Goodrich.Ruby was loved by all who knew her. She was there to lend a hand to anyone who needed it without expecting anything in return. Ruby was married on July10, 1954 to Edward A.Roberts.
She leaves her children, David and Vicki Roberts of Lebanon, OH, Melody and Greg Diamontopulos of Seaford, VA, Thomas Roberts of St. Albans, VT, Sally and Keith Billado of Fairfax, VT, Susan and Patrick Wyrick of Lebanon, PA. She leaves 15 grandkids and 16 greatgrandkids, who were all very special to her. She also leaves her brothers, Pete (Connie) Goodrich of Panton, VT and Jim (Cathy) Goodrich of Travares, FL. She leaves many nieces and nephews. She leaves a few special friends at Cathedral Square, Shelia Parker from Florida, Virginia Compagna of South Hero, VT, Betty and DeLeon Sasser from Pikeville, NC and Lisa Gould, the mail carrier. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses on Miller 5 who took care of her.
She is predeceased by her parents, husband Edward Roberts, Brothers Dick Goodrich, Herbert Goodrich, Tony Goodrich, Sisters Barb Donnelly and Peg Snelling.
There will be no visiting hours, a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John’s Vianney on June 17, 2020 at 3pm officiated by Father Henry Furman. A private graveside memorial will follow at the family’s convenience.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
