It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and friend on March 8th, 2020.
Pete was born on February 28, 1955, to Marie (Boucher) and Edward Thibault Sr. in Burlington, VT. He was born in Burlington but lived most of his life in St. Albans, VT. He spent 43 years with the love of his life, Norma Ryan, and they married on December 31st, 1981. They raised 2 children together, Joshua and Megan.
He leaves his wife, Norma, behind as well as his children; Brenda, Joshua, and Megan. His five grandchildren Isaac, Mykenzie, Reece, Aubree, and Molly, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dearest friend Bob Whitham – thank you for being such an amazing friend.
Pete was predeceased by his mother Marie Preston, father Edward Thibault Sr, brothers Craig Thibault and Robert Preston and his mother-in-law Colleen Ryan.
Pete loved his family and friends unconditionally and would do anything to give someone a helping hand. He enjoyed traveling to new places and he loved fishing, boating, fast cars and his dog, Cordell. Above all, he loved his life and those in it.
Per Pete’s wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
