Obituary for Duane Keith Lefebvre

Milton - Duane Keith Lefebvre, 36, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2019. Duane was born November 12, 1982 in Burlington son of William Lefebvre Sr. and the late Susan (Morits) Lefebvre.

Duane graduated from Mount Mansfield Union High School class of 2001. He was most recently a self-employed driver for Uber. Duane loved working out and was well known as an excellent boxer, starting at the age of 7. Duane competed in both local and International Competition, winning at the Vermont Golden Gloves three times. Duane will especially be remembered for his strength. No matter how bad things got he always knew how to make you smile or find the goofy in anything. He was loved by many and his presence will be greatly missed. He and his son loved to play his video games together. Nathan loved watching his Dad play for hours while Duane would explain the game to him. He was an excellent artist and his daughter, Shaylah, had that in common with him. He was so proud of her artistic ability. Danica and Payton loved to wrestle with Duane and goof around with him, Nathan too. His cats, Loki and Peepers, were his fur babies and he treated them as such. They got him through some sad times and he LOVED them.

Duane leaves behind his long time love of nearly 18 years and best friend, Stephanie Carter and the lights of his life, their children, Shaylah (13yrs), Payton (10yrs), Nathan (8yrs) and Danica(3yrs); his father William Lefebvre, Sr (Stephanie Koch); his siblings, Carrie Michaud (Joe), Malcolm Donaldson (Torylynn), William R. Lefebvre, Jr. (Randi), Kevin Donaldson (Ashley), Melinda Lefebvre (Harvey Moody), Joseph Lefebvre (Stephanie Cota), Maggie May Clark (Kyra McAfee); special sister-in-law Joanna Lefebvre, his mini-me and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Duane is also predeceased by his mom and grandparents.

Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday November 20, 2019 from 5 -8pm at A.W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel. There will be no funeral service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
