Obituary for Richard D. Davis
Essex Junction - Richard D. Davis formerly of Burlington passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 29, 2019. He was born on April 17, 1970 in New York City, New York to Judith Hope Davis and Peter S. Jefferys.
Richard was a theatrical stage hand with a passion for theater, music, poetry and writing. He was a pioneer of tattoos and hardcore music and loved Social Distortion, Blondie and Cro-Mags. He exhibited a sense of humor, while remaining true to his anti-racist beliefs.
He leaves his father, beloved daughter Cara, a brother, a sister, aunts, his uncle, cousins, nieces a special friend Roscoe Ferris, his cats Fate and Mercury. He was predeceased by his mother, grandparents, dog Violet and cat Maxwell.
