I've finished life's chores assigned to me,
so put me on a boat headed out to sea,
Please send along my fishing pole,
For I've been invited to the fishing hole.
Where everyday is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish,
Don't worry or feel sad for me,
I'm fishing with the Master of the Sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile,
That won't be long you will see,
Till we are together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea,
If others wonder why I'm missing,
Just tell them I've gone fishing.

To Gene and Lena's families......

I am so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He and Lena were two of the best neighbors I ever had! Gene loved to decorate the house for the holidays and kids loved to "trick or treat" there. I came home from work one winter day to find bigger-than-life Santa & Mrs. Claus plywood cutouts (in full color!) leaning on my fence......which I proudly put out for years!

I will miss Gene's visits and have such wonderful memories of two of the best neighbors I ever had.
