Obituary for Joshua Aaron Reynolds
Joshua Aaron Reynolds born on November 15th, 1987 left to be with the Lord on June 13th, 2019 at the early age of 31 years old. Joshua was the eldest son of Allen and Tina Reynolds. Many things were important to Joshua, but closest to his heart was his family, which included his girlfriend and love of his life, Britta Brickell. Joshua had many particular hobbies and passions including Japanese culture and music, anime, gaming, skateboarding, film and technology. Joshua attended grade schools in Burlington, South Burlington, and Essex. He graduated from Essex High School in 2005 and he attended Burlington College to study Film and later received his Associates degree in Network Administration from the Community College of Vermont in 2013.
Joshua leaves behind his Father and Mother, Allen and Tina Reynolds of Colchester, Vermont; his younger brother Tyler (Raeann) Reynolds and their children Isaiah and Liam of Lynchburg, Virginia; his youngest brother Ethan Reynolds of Colchester; his maternal grandfather Stephen G. Starr of St. Cloud, Florida; his paternal grandmother Pauline L. Reynolds; his uncle Roland Reynolds Jr. of Burlington, Vermont; his Uncle Thomas E. (Wendy) Starr, and their children Thomas and Brandon of Clovis, California; his Aunt Amy Newman, her fiancé Dave Wilson, and her children Stephanie and William of St. Cloud, Florida; his Aunt Tracie (Darren) Lawrence of Las Vegas, NV, and their children Brittany (Ronnie, Ronald, Ryleigh), and Briana and Darren J.S. Lawrence of Las Vegas; his great Aunt Dianne (Tim) Bleau, and her children Katie (Steve) Latterell, and their children Jordon and Alyssa; and Kyle (Jamie) Latterell, and their children Shelby and Blake. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins, and his best friends Dale Marsh, Nathaniel Burdo, Dat Le, Travis LeClair, Danielle Jones and many friends and loved ones too numerous to include.
Joshua was also predeceased in death by his maternal grandmother Linda M. Starr of St. Cloud, Florida; his paternal grandfather Roland S. Reynolds Sr. of Burlington, Vermont; and his uncle William (Billy) Newman III of St. Cloud, Florida; and his paternal and maternal great grandparents.
The Reynolds family would like to thank all of the staff at the University of Vermont Medical Center for their loving and compassionate care for Joshua, Colchester Police Department and Rescue, and the individuals who administered CPR and all who attempted to help save Joshua. We are eternally grateful for you all.
Joshua was a talented selfless loving soul who always knew how to outdo himself. He was never one to give up on anyone no matter how far down they fell. Even now, he continues to inspire and remind us all to be the best versions of ourselves, no substitutes. Josh would never settle for anything less than best in anything he did, and those who were lucky enough to know him became better too. Josh had the most beautiful green eyes that would shine in the face of a challenge. He always rose to the occasion, no matter what was asked of him. He was our rock, and we miss him terribly. Although Joshua's life ended tragically, his final act was to help many others through the donation of his organs. His legacy will live on through the lives of others. He will always be remembered as a hero. Until we hear him say again "Welcome back".
