Jeffersonville - Dorcas Lanphear White passed peacefully on October 21, 2018 in Waterbury Vermont. Born Dorcas Lou , Tatro on August 23, 1926 in Waterville, Vermont. Dorcas moved to New Hampshire in 1964 with her husband Delmer Lanphear (now deceased) and their 5 children, settling in Nashua NH. She worked as a pastry chef for the Modern restaurant for many years. Dorcas retired in Fort Lauderdale Florida with her husband Chester White, where she continued to work part time as a pastry chef in a local Synagogue. After the death of her second husband she moved back to Vermont. Dorcas enjoyed baking and she loved Bingo, fishing and the Red Sox.

Dorcas has 5 children; Gerald ‘Sam’ Lanphear, recently deceased, Linda Lou Lamy, recently deceased, Dennis Lanphear of Henniker, NH, Dayton Lanphear of Sisters, OR and Chris Lanphear of Jeffersonville VT. She also had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
