Condolences

Condolence From: Kate McGowan
Condolence: Jane was always an upbeat partner at Marlboro events- I spent a lot of time with her in various kitchens! The conversation was wonderful, the good cheer uplifting, and the ready hands and willing spirit turned a chore into quick and joyful work. A pleasure to have gotten to know her in these small moments!

Condolence: Jane was someone quick to smile, laugh and share encouragement. She was a bright light in the Marlboro graduate community, loved by her classmates and faculty. As her academic advisor, I was inspired by Jane's passionate commitment to undertake meaningful work in the world and to never stop growing in her leadership. She was particularly motivated to create a better world for her granddaughters. We will miss her terribly.

Condolence: I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28,29. There Jesus promised a resurrection, saying that the hour will come in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. These resurrected ones will inherit the earth, as Jesus spoke about in Matthew chapter 5. Then, under the rule of God’s Kingdom, they will enjoy life the way God originally intended, in perfect health with no sorrow, pain or death. (Psalms 37:29. Isaiah 33:24. Revelation 21:4) What a wonderful time that will be! If you would like to learn more about this hope, please visit jw.org. Please accept my condolences.

Condolence: Jane was a beautiful soul who never took a conversation with a friend for granted. She had the ability to connect deeply with people and was genuinely interested in what you had to say. I will miss speaking with her. This photo was taken at a wedding in Massachusetts in 2016. We had a great time that evening!

Condolence: Jane, You will be dearly missed by your friends from pulmonary rehab. She was such a warm and inviting friend. I will miss our lunches together, wish there had been more. You were such an inspiration to me and it means a lot to me to have been able to call you my friend. Condolence: Oh, our dear Jane! She was my supervisor at the Lund Home, my first real job out of college in the late 80’s. She helped me learn the ropes. She had a great way of explaining things to me, and I’ll always remember how we laughed at the stress! What a lovely person.

Condolence: I was saddened to hear of Jane's passing. We were fellow members of the Milton Garden Club and I enjoyed visiting Jane's home on Cherry Street where she was always so willing to share her beautiful flowerbeds. Jane was a lovely person and she will be dearly missed.

Condolence: Jane was such a warm and thoughtful person, with an infectious smile. We worked together at Trinity College and would be in touch occasionally since then. Jane was one of those people who could pick up where you left off as if no time had passed, expressing genuine interest and affection toward others. We last saw each other at a Mercy Connections function, where she offered many tips and stories about traveling to Ireland, which I will cherish. I wish the family comfort during this time of loss. Such a lovely and special person.

Condolence: Jane will be missed so much by myself and her friends in yoga. She touched my life in so many ways. I will miss her spirit dearly and feel honored to have had the chance to meet her. We worked together in pulmonary rehab and then taught her in yoga class. She is the most determined person I have ever met and has a heart of gold. I am so sorry and am sending your family love and light during these hard times. Love, Julia
