Obituary for Glenn Francis Gregoire

Glenn Gregoire, 65 years old, resident of Burlington Health and Rehab Center of Burlington, Vermont, died peacefully on Saturday May 26, 2018 at McClure-Miller VNA Respite House in Colchester VT. He was born on December 27, 1952 in Burlington, VT, the son of the late Louis and Maxine Gregoire of Colchester, VT. He previously lived in Orange, VT where he owned an auto sales and service business. Glenn graduated from Burlington High School, and was a member of the Vermont Army National Guard.

Glenn is survived by three siblings; Marylou (Gregoire) Bishop-King, Gary Gregoire, and Gail (Gregoire) Fenwick of Florida and Vermont, a daughter, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Glenn enjoyed auto racing, enthusiastically cared for his ‘family’ of Shih Tzu dogs and his time in Wells, Maine. For those close to him, he will be lovingly remembered for his unique wit and ‘Vermont’ sense of humor.

Special acknowledgement and thanks are extended to Burlington Health and Rehab Center who nurtured and cared for Glenn the last few years. The family expresses deep appreciation to VNA Respite House for the warm, loving care he received there. If desired, please direct any donations to the Respite House.

Per Glenn’s wish to be cremated, arrangements were handled by A. W. Rich Funeral Home, Essex Junction, VT. The family will hold a memorial service this summer. Please visit www.awrfh.com to share your memories and condolences.
