Obituary for Lawrence Dezotelle

Lawrence Myron Dezotelle, 78 of Fairfax/St. Albans passed away at the home of his grandson Ryan Dezotelle and his girlfriend Teah Peliquin on Sunday May 20, 2018 with his family by his side. Lawrence was born in Belvidere the son of the late Ardel (Foote) and Myron Dezotelle.
Lawrence was a carpenter for most of his life. He had his own business with his son Mike. He loved to reminisce about the hell him and his childhood friend Ellis Stockwell did through the years with his hunting and fishing and all their drinking and poker games. He was good at teaching Austin Bodette about life and sugaring while helping take care of Lawrence. Lawrence loved to visit and tell jokes and share stories and we want to thank Jessie Beaupre who stood by his side through all and laughed with him or cried with him.
Lawrence is survived by his children Lorinda and Kenny Perry of Jeffersonville, Mike and Wendy Dezotelle of Waterville, Trina Draper of Swanton, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lawrence was predeceased by his wife.
Per Lawrence’s wishes there will be no public visiting hours or services held. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 55 Day Lane, Williston, VT 05495. The family invites you to share your memories and condolences by visiting www.awrfh.com.
