Condolence: Deb - I am so saddened by the loss of Dave. It was wonderful working with him at the warehouse and backstage. He was always there ready to help with a tall reach and that beautiful smile. We will miss him greatly. My love and support goes out to you and your family at this difficult time.

Condolence: Deb, I am thinking of you today with a very heavy heart, wishing that Essex Junction wasn’t nearly 300 miles away. I am so proud of your strength during Dave s illness and the love you had during your marriage. You two created many great memories during your 24 years that I hope will bring you more comfort than sadness in the days to come. I wish I had known Dave better and been able to attend his shows at the Lyric. Love to Katie and Dave s sisters. I hope to see you this Spring....Love, Shosh

Condolence: Deb and Family, I was so saddened to hear of David's passing. He was such a joy to work with on many Lyric shows. Ancient Egyptians believed that upon death they would be asked two questions and their answers would determine whether they could continue their journey in the afterlife. The first question was, "Did you bring joy?" The second was, "Did you find joy?" (L Buscaglia) I believe the answer is "yes" to both of those questions. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.

Condolence: Deb and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I still remember David as one of the Russians in 1993 when we were in "Fiddler...". He was truly a special man and will be missed. I wonder if he is off doing the Lambeth Walk once again?

Condolence: I will remember David as the quiet, kind man who played Jacob in Lyric Theatre's 2013 production of Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Dave was also from Michigan and Nathan and I (new to Vermont) were relieved to meet someone who understood why we explained where we were from by pointing to our hands. As a testament to how truly kind and chivalrous he was... Dave was directed to possessively grab my behind at a certain point during a song. He couldn't do it. He wouldn't do it. We had a separate 30 minute coaching session wherein we repeatedly rehearsed the grabbing. He was NOT a fan. In the end, he simply put his arm behind me and I reacted as though I was being grabbed. ACTING! He is gone far too soon. I extend my deepest condolences to his entire family, most especially his wife Deb who is just as lovely, sweet and kind. If we cannot have Dave in our lives, may we all be a bit more Dave-like to all we meet.

Condolence: This is so sad to hear. David worked so hard all his life and saved and invested for his retirement. He did it right and now this. He was our mailman here in Eastwoods for maybe 25 years. My niece was visiting once and said our neighborhood was like Mr. Rogers neighborhood with Dave as our mailman. Davud and I used to talk a lot. He always had time for me and for everyone in the neighborhood. We all loved him.

Condolence: Oh my - what a sad loss. We still talk about what a wonderful letter carrier Dave was. He told me once that it wasn't really like working -- he just walked around all day and visited with his friends! We have missed him since he retired and are saddened to learn of his passing. I'm sure he's presently making friends of everyone he meets on the other side! What a wonderful man.
