Condolences

Condolence From: Larry & Thekla Lesure
Condolence: We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We live down the road in Waterville. We would see Mr. Ziegler out in all sorts of weather doing yard work. He was certainly an inspiration to everyone. We will miss seeing him, our condolences to you all.

Condolence: Dear Mrs ZIegler,

I have never met you or your husband, I have had the privilege of working with and knowing your daughter Hedi. I have always believed it takes a village to raise a child, but the solid base given at home must be in place first. You and your husband must be the rock that Heidi's trust, faith and human character were built on. It is easy to say things will get better, but the fact is a little piece of each of you died that day also. Please know that you and your family will be in my prayers and thoughts in the days to come. I want to thank you for giving the world a daughter with a heart so big as you did in Heidi. God be with you, Doreen Lee Slusser

Condolence: How can one sum up the life of a friend? A friend who taught by music, by example and also by words. We will always remember Emil with a twinkle in his eye and for his sweet cello music.
It was a gift to have his friendship. Our deepest sympathy to his wife, Leisel, his daughter Heidi, and Logan, Kim & John and all Emil's family... In Emil's lifetime, he touched many lives and will forever remain in our hearts.

Condolence From: Barbara Thomke & Bob Mulcahy
Condolence: Dear Family of Emil Ziegler,
We are so sad to learn of Emil's passing and send our heartfelt condolences to you for your loss.

What a wonderful man he was as husband, father, friend. Yes, we did enjoy his winsome humor, too! And his wonderful cello music. Emil and a violinist friend and I once played as a trio for a wedding in Sterling Valley in Stowe. It was a pleasant summer day with gusty winds. We couldn't keep our music in place on the stands even with clothes pins to hold it in place, the melodies were diluted by the wind, and we giggled all the while!

We hope your many wonderful memories of Emil will help to sustain you as you find peace with his passing.

Sincerely and with love,
Barbara and Bob.

Condolence: It was with great sadness when I read the obituary in this morning's newspaper. I have only fond memories of a very special couple - Emil and Liesel - coming to the pool at Racquet's Edge. I've been gone from the pool for the past several years, and just the other day had a brief moment of memory of them. Your family was blessed to have shared his long life and the special qualities of this exceptional man. My prayers are with you all.

Condolence From: Pat Diego
Condolence: I was saddened to hear of the passing of Emil. We became acquainted at the water class at the Raquets Edge. With one ear and eye on the instructor, we had many conversations about the Black Forest where I lived for a short time. I missed him in later years when he could not come. His love for life, for the cello, and for his family gave me much pleasure in knowing him.
My condolences to his family and his dear wife.
Fondly,
Pat Diego
