Susan Baker

Was saddened to hear of Janet's passing. I met Janet in grade 8 at Dorval High School, and along with a small group of girls, we became fast friends. We shared many adventures together throughout our teenage and young adult years. Janet and I went on to attend Marianopolis College, and Concordia University. We were involved in Rangers, where Janet and I participated in a camping trip that took us on horseback through the foothills in Alberta. We played our guitars, and formed a singing group called "Sunseer" with girlfriends, performing at local hospitals and retirement homes, as well as at Girl Guide/Boy Scout events. We had such fun planning and going camping in all seasons, especially winter in tents, or railcar cabooses. Janet and I also got our first jobs with Pilgrim Airlines, which had such diverse duties, and was interesting and fun. I will treasure those memories of wonderful times together with Janet. With sympathy to all her family.
