Loving Memories

I've known Bruce about 35-40 years now. Always a loving, kind hearted, patient and giving man. My family and I had the opportunity of getting to know Bruce through out dear friend Nellie. They were so inseperable you always saw them together! Most recently I saw Bruce without Nellie when visiting him at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Hanover, a little over three weeks ago. Visiting Bruce was like being given a gift of friendship and love. Bruce shared he was at peace and his decision to stop fighting the cancer that had taken hold of his quality of life. Bruce not unlike my beloved father felt Quality of Life was more important than Quantity. His only concern was for his beloved partner and life mate Nellie! I told Bruce we would always look out for our Nellie and that she was a strong lady. His love for others even at this time was incredible. I gave Bruce a cross that Harry had mad from Dad's maple tree. He was so touched. It was a great time to share our tears and laughter of love and friendship. Bruce, was giving to the end. I love Bruces spirit, he will be forever remembered in our hearts. We share our condolences in the loss of our friend Bruce and will look to the heavens as we see his spirit soar.
