Obituary for
William Michael "Billy" Griffin
Burlington - William Michael "Billy" Griffin, 58 passed away at his home on Sept. 26, 2018. He was born on April 6, 1960 in Burlington, son of the late Earl and Hilda (Bergeron) Griffin.
Billy worked in the plumbing industry during his working years. He had a passion for hunting and fishing especially when his father was alive and well. I'm sure many of those stories were told over and over again to anyone who would listen. Joking around and reminiscing were common points of conversation. He simply enjoyed visiting with his family and the many friends that he made throughout his life's journey, many of which were lifelong friends. He was fortunate to have had such an abundance of support from friends and family days and weeks before he passed.
William is survived by his son Jeffrey Pariseau and wife Renee of South Burlington; Stephanie Wheelock and husband Todd of Rutland; two brothers Stanley Griffin and wife Gigi of South Burlington, Wayne Griffin and wife Nora of Burlington; a sister Vanessa St. Amour of Winooski and Joseph St. Amour of Essex; five grandchildren Mariah, Kyle, Ryann, Aiden, Rylee, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by his brother John Griffin.
There will be no visiting hours held. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Oct. 1stat 2:00 p.m. at Holy Family Cemetery, Essex Junction.
