Condolences

Condolence From: Kent Findlay
Condolence: We were saddened to learn of Whit's passing. He will always be remembered at New Canaan Country School for his passion for maple sugaring, a tradition we still carry on here today. Whit was recently included in a retrospective edition of our school magazine which celebrated all faculty and staff who have taught at the school during its 100 year history (he is listed on page 74). Here is a digital link: https://issuu.com/newcanaancountryschool/docs/nccs_centbulletin_2017?e=6667326/49293692 Or you can simply go to our website: www.countryschool.net and scroll down to NEWS. As is our custom, we will include his obituary in a future issue of the Bulletin as well so that members of 1962-1966 community will be informed. On behalf of everyone here at NCCS, please accept our condolences. Kent Findlay New Canaan Country School

Condolence: Fran (as he was known to us at Hoosac School), served for many years as trustee. One of the best things about that was - he'd come to campus and we'd get to see him. Without fail, he would find time to visit each of us, often bringing a little maple syrup surprise. Fran remembered each person, in his genuine way every time. Having touched our lives so beautifully, he is in each of our hearts for all time. To be sure, he leaves a wonderful family to whom go our thoughts and prayers.
