Obituary for Arnold Lester White

Arnie White, 65, of Fairfax passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. with his wife Darla White, his daughter Jennifer Hancock, his son Jason White and nephew “Son” Bobbie White by his side. He was born on February 23, 1952 son of the late Arnold and Doris (Fenwick) White. He is also survived by his son-in-law Kenneth Hancockand his brother George and wife Patricia White. Arnie drove truck for the last 30 years and was warehouseman at Vermont Commercial Warehouse in Williston.

Arnie was a unique man that had a zest for life. Everything had to be his way or no way, but that’s what made him one of a kind. He had a very big heart and would do anything for anyone. His passions ran deep for his children and grandchildren and loved watching his daughter struggle with parenthood and would say “see pay backs a bitch”.

His other passion was his 1990 International Cab-over custom motorhome a one of a kind masterpiece that he and his son built. He had traveled all over the US to truck shows and bringing home trophies. He made new friends wherever he went.

A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday July 9, 2017 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Champlain Country Club, Swanton. Come celebrate with us and share your stories and memories.
