Obituary for Dean Charles Corse

Dean Charles Corse born November 23, 1929 to Charles Corse and Alice Howard Corse. Married Marietta Barry on September 22, 1952, this September marks their 65th anniversary of marriage. On May 23, 2017 Dean passed away at Copley Hospital with family by his side.
Dean is survived by, wife Marietta, 2 sisters Barb Hill and Eunice Barry, sister-in-law Barb Howard and brother-in-law Glendon Pells, 3 daughters Deanna, husband Terry Judkins, Joanne Herman, husband Jim Herman, Pam Corse-Richardson, partner Don Lynch, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and many special nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by 2 brothers, Allen Howard and Jack Corse, sisters Ruth Paulin and Colleen Pells, Henry Paulin, Emery Hill, Jane Corse, and son-in-law Gary Richardson.
Dean worked construction for his entire life, a valued employee for Ralph B. Goodrich, G.W. Tatro, and others throughout the years. Dean was a member of the team that moved the Ticonderoga from Lake Champlain to The Shelburne Museum.
Dean's greatest joys in life were spending time with family and friends, camping, picnics, fishing, traveling (made it to 49 States, missing only Hawaii), and volunteering at Lamoille County Field Days.
Dad's nickname was "Mean Dean" because he always enjoyed picking on everyone.
Dean and Marietta spent many winters in Florida, enjoying many friends and fishing daily.

Services will be held on May 26, 2017 at the Lamoille Valley Church of the Nazarene in Johnson. Visiting hours will be held from 4pm to the hour of service at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend Lamos officiating.
