I am so sorry to learn of Frank's passing away--altogether too soon , too young. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Barkyoumb family. Way back in 1949 when my family (the Dahls) moved to Westford and were neighbors of the Kenneth and Jeannene Barkyoumb family, we Dahl children were welcomed by Janet, Frankie, Gloria, and Betty (I think the only children born at that time). They were our playmates and schoolmates all the way through our eight gradeschool years, both at the Brookside and Westford town schools. I have many good memories of our time with the Barkyoumbs--from playing hide and seek in the barns, wading in the barnyard (yes the manure) and bathing in the brook! In fact Frankie was my first crush, so so long ago :))) Reading the obituary confirms my belief that Frank was a fine, accomplished and loved person. May he rest in peace.
