Condolence From: Ann & James Thompson
Condolence: Dear Shaun, Kevin, Kyle and family,
We are so saddened to hear about the loss of your Mother, Betty. She was a sweet, loving and warm person. She always had a smile on her face and a cheery disposition. She was quick to laugh and it was fun to laugh with her. Her presence definitely brightened our day. We will miss her.
She and your Dad were courageous to come to this country with virtually no money and not knowing our language or culture. We were amazed at how well she learned to speak English. She and your Father wanted a better life for you and your family. They both worked very hard. They didn’t get any handouts from our government. With great effort and endurance they were able to buy their own home, buy their own car and provide an education for each of you three sons. Her courage was tested again, when your Father, Eddie, passed away 15 years ago. It is not easy to raise 3 fine boys, as a single Mother. She and your Dad were outstanding examples of immigrants, who assimilated, contributed to our society and realized the American Dream.
Betty was too young to die, but she fulfilled the purpose and tasks God set before her. God has called her home to be reunited with your Dad in Heaven. Now you have 2 angels overlooking you - your Mom and your Dad.
We were very blessed to have known them during their brief sojourn on this earth.
We send our prayers and love to you during this time of deep loss and mourning.
God Bless You,
Ann & Ryan (James) Thompson

Condolence: Dear Shaun, Kevin and Kyle,
I am so saddened by the loss of your mother in your lives. She was such a kind person and always had a broad smile for me whenever I saw her. She was very proud of all of your achievements. She enjoyed telling me what the 3 of you were up to, what race you'd won, that Shaun had gotten married and that she had a grandson! Her life, as well as your dad's was cut short by cancer. They both had so much more to do and enjoy.
I did not know her life story and I appreciate that Betty's obituary told me about it. You will want to tell your children of both of your parents' lives. They wanted the best for all of you.
I feel certain Betty and Eddie have reunited and are safe in the loving arms of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Cindy Little
