Obituary for Evelynne Irene Edwards (Boesch)

Evelynne Irene Edwards (Boesch)
Evelynne Boesch Edwards

Jeffersonville

On Monday evening, Evelynne Boesch Edwards slipped the shackles of Alzheimer's Disease and went to join her beloved husband, Ashton Wendell Edwards. Evelynne was born on May 11, 1929, in Bristol, Vermont, the daughter of John (Johannes Hans) and Irene (Tatro) Boesch. She grew up in Fletcher and Cambridge, Vermont, graduated from Cambridge High School, and married Ashton W. Edwards on June 25, 1947. Evelynne was a devoted wife, loving mother, excellent hairdresser, and noted landscape artist. Her creativity and artistry shone through her paintings, her baking and cooking, and her interior decorating. Her love for her family, dogs, and friends was reflected in her warm and ever present smile. She was predeceased by her husband, Ashton Edwards, her parents, John and Irene Boesch, and her brother, John Boesch. "Mom", as her children and grandchildren called her, will be missed by her daughters, Sandy Edwards Albright and her husband David Albright, Bonnie Adams and her husband Bernie St. Marie (all of Jeffersonville), her grandchildren, Meghan Albright and her partner Erik Diekmeyer of Columbus, Ohio; Ashley Adams and her husband Pike Porter of Burlington, VT, and Hugh Albright and his wife Amy of Deep River Ct. And her great-grandchildren, Emma and Ashton Albright, and Atticus Adams-Porter. She also leaves her special friend and sister-in-law, Margaret Sweet, her beloved nephew, Greg Edwards, and numerous extended family members, friends, and caregivers. There will be a graveside service and celebration at the sugar house in the spring, which will be announced at a later date. Donations may be made to the charity of one' s choice in lieu of flowers.
