Condolence From: Wendy Cory
Condolence: Peter,
You are the most amazing husband, son, father, brother and brother in law. Phyllis could not have chosen a better soul mate. We will get through day by day and comforted by the memory of a life well lived.
Smooch,
Wendy

Condolence: I just learned of Phyllis passing. It seems a long time ago we worked together at GMP but all these years we were in contact through annual Christmas messages. My prayers to you and your family.

Condolence: We were so sorry to hear of Phyllis' passing. It was particularly poignant for me as I remembered that she made a point of contacting me when I was in the middle of radiation - to offer to drive me in once... since she was going in that day anyway. We had a lovely chat and I enjoyed getting to know her a little better. I am so sorry to hear of our community's loss.

Condolence From: Dorothea Matthews
Condolence: I met Phyllis through work, but mostly at a distance. I would see her when she came to NYC on business and we would happily pal around at the annual electric utility meetings. She was a wonderful person and a dear friend. Her passing leaves a great void for me and, I am sure, for her family and friends. My deepest condolences to Peter, her children and her beloved grandson.

Condolence From: Bruce & Sally Collopy
Condolence: Peter and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Phyllis always had such a positive attitude with everything she's been through. She was inspirational and always a pleasure to see when you visited Fairfield Pond. We're so saddened that the ugly cancer has claimed another beautiful life much too young. The deep loss here on Earth is certainly a huge gain in Heaven. With Love, Sally & Bruce

Condolence From: Becki Willis-Eaton
Condolence: To one of my dearest of customers who became a dear friend. Phyllis, you supported me as I grew my business and your warm, sweet smile lit up my kitchen time and time again. I cherish the many events that you asked me to cater and I came to love who you were and always looked forward to spending time in your home. I did not realize that your cancer had returned or was advanced enough to take your life. I am grateful that I saw you before I moved to Boston but Peter, I wish that I was in Jericho so that I could shower you with food and comfort during this time. To the Gray family, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives for a brief time. I will never forget you. With love,
Becki Willis-Eaton

Condolence From: Pam Gillis
Condolence: Peter,
I learned of Phyllis' passing from Mary Ellen today and had just learned that she had terminal cancer. I am so very sorry for your loss. I can really feel for you as I lost a husband to cancer who was also 58. That was in 2002. After grieving, the best thing I found was to concentrate on the good memories and be glad for the time you had together. It is hard.
Your Mobbs Farm friend, Pam
