Fredericko Argento, 78, passed away on Saturday November 8, 2014 at The Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL. Fred was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 15, 1936 where he was raised by his grandparents. Fred joined the Air Force where he eventually met Carol Hendy. They were married on February 7, 1959. After serving in the Air Force, he began employment at IBM where he worked for 28 years. After retiring he moved to Florida and worked for Walt Disney for 14 years. Fred enjoyed golfing, fishing, and travel. He had a deep love of nature, and was particularly fond of the flowers and birds around his home in Winter Haven, Florida.
Fredericko is survived by his son Jayson F. Argento his wife Krista and their daughter Mila; daughter Jada M. Argento and Ed Benoit; granddaughter Shayna-Marie Benjamin and fiancé Leroy Bray, Jr.; granddaughter Tehya-Marie Bray; sister-in-law Judith (Hendy) Burke; his loving friend and caregiver Katherine Johnson; several nieces and nephews;
He was predeceased by his sister, and by his Loving wife Carol (Hendy) Argento in 1987.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday November 16, 2014 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Essex Chapel, 57 Main St., Essex Jct., VT 05452. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Essex Alliance Church, 37 Old Stage Rd, Essex Junction, VT 05452. Burial will follow at Resurrection Park Cemetery, Hinesburg Rd., South Burlington where full Military Honors will be accorded. Memorial contributions in Fredericko’s memory may be made to Vermont Respite House, 99 Allen Brook Lane, Williston, VT 05495.
